Middle Full-Stack developer

We're looking for a Software Engineer who ships end-to-end and owns the result — not someone who takes a ticket, closes a ticket, and waits for the next spec. The CTO currently runs product and marketing in parallel; you step in, take one of those directions fully off his plate, and run it from idea to production. The junior layer is handled by an AI bot. We hire only for high-impact work.
Product you will work with: Subscription platform for learning IT professions (web + mobile app). We are focused on English-speaking geographies. 50% of users are from the US and UK, the remaining 50% is global traffic, with a focus on tier 1 countries. We have already found a monetization model and target persona, and also found a working funnel for attracting new users, which significantly reduced CAC.
Your qualities and skills that will be valued:
2+ years of development experience with Node.js, TypeScript, Next.js, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL (MongoDB is also in the stack).
AWS or another cloud in practice: Lambda, SQS, S3, CloudWatch — not just on paper.
AI-native way of working: Claude Code or similar agents are your daily tools, and you have bots, automations, or side projects to show for it.
Strong system design skills: you understand how to architect for scale, not just for the next sprint.
Ownership that doesn't need nudging: you drive features from idea to production and propose solutions even where nobody asked.
Product mindset: you care how the work lands for the user and suggest solutions instead of waiting for a mockup or a complete spec.
English level: B1+.
Your additional advantages:
Experience with React Native or another mobile framework.
Analytics hands-on: Amplitude, Looker, or another BI tool; solid grasp of conversion rates, percentage points, and A/B testing basics.
Martech background: Meta Ads API, conversion tracking via CAPI or GTM — or a real appetite to get there fast.
Payment providers integration experience (Stripe or similar).
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering features end-to-end across two core directions: product (web + mobile app) and marketing tech — from the first idea through to production.
Taking full responsibility for decisions: proposing solutions even where nobody explicitly asked for them.
Building internal tools from scratch when you spot a manual process worth automating — that's exactly how the team's support CRM, ads automation, and technical AI assistant came to life.
Working AI-native: AI agents handle the execution layer, but you remain accountable for the final result.
On the product side: preparing the mobile app for free-trial traffic (web-to-app) — onboarding flows, quizzes, navigation, in-app tracking, and purchases, in close collaboration with the product designer.
Building new task types across the LMS editor and student view; running paywall and pricing A/B experiments.
On the marketing side: giving the team a single source of truth for creative performance by combining data from Looker, Amplitude, and Facebook, then generating AI iterations of the winning creatives.
Scaling Facebook campaigns automatically and consolidating the martech stack — replacing a paid SaaS tool that already got outperformed by something built in-house.
Growing into full ownership of a direction — product, marketing, or a new one — within the first year, with the CTO moving into a consulting role for it.
